Character versus Reputation.

Most of us confuse character with reputation. Reputation is what you are in public. Character is what you are in private. 

Reputation is what others think about you. Character is what you know about you. Your character is what you do when no one is watching. 
Your character is what you do in secret. Your character is what you do thinking no one will ever find out. that’s the real you. the other one is the fake you. Never trust your reputation and don't trust other people’s reputation. We have made reputation more important than character. We don’t need leaders with great reputation but leaders who have great responsible attitude who will not violate their own personal values. reputation is never more important than responsibility. 

We don’t need leaders with a good position but good disposition. ... of course you already know there is no such thing as corrupt politics. or a corrupt government. it doesn’t exist. Organizations are never corrupt. it’s the people that get in them. the politician determines what the country will look like, Well That's just because the personal values of the politician becomes public policy. This is why most countries need to be very careful because we think that the president is our problem. 

The president is never our problem. The president is always temporary. The most dangerous people in our governments are the people we cannot fire. The ones you can’t vote out because you didn’t vote them in. they are called supreme. The most dangerous people in your country are the ones who create Law. Because law produces values. They become the character of the country. They tell us what’s acceptable and not acceptable. That’s why they are called supreme. 

Do you know the word supreme is only used in reference to God? Which means that your country has gods. So don’t worry about your presidents too much. i Hear most people say “the president the president”. ... Presidents go and come!. it’s the guys you can’t move. i’m not saying that your presidents shouldn’t be checked but i think sometimes we put too much emphasis on the wrong thing. There has got to be a way to remove them if they do not live in sync with our values as a country. #LEADERSHiP.
